Picture above is a statue of Periander.
We are Corinth and that's our name.
Art and business is our game.
Literature is also something we do.
So come to our city-state and get a book or two.
Our government's Monarchy ruled by a king.
That’s right, just one ruler, that’s our thing.
We make coins and people visit to trade.
They come and buy our goods, that’s how we get paid.
If you’re thinking bout messing with us
You better think twice.
We train our boys to fight like men, not mice.
They go to battle camp for 2 long years,
So they can go to war without any fears.
Corinthians are a diverse group and more.
We have the rich, the slaves and the poor.
We worship.... the God of the seas.
That's right, the wave ridin' Poseidon.
Our daily life is spent
at the marketplace where we trade goods.
We make statues, vases and pottery in our neighborhood.
